We enjoyed our stay. Very nice Cabana number 2. Large room and balcony. Confortable bed. We slept really well. The Beach Club offered us towels, umbrella and beach beds, good service and good band for live music. There are a lot of restaurants around and downtown is few minutes away by walking.

​The best part of this hotel is definitely the location. It’s steps away from the beach and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and the city center. The rooms were clean and the food was good. ​However, the service left a lot to be desired. Some waiters seemed only interested in tips and clearly prioritized American or Canadian guests, which felt very unprofessional. Additionally, the lobby and its restrooms are in poor condition, and the beach beds/mattresses are completely worn out. Great potential, but needs better management.

The room was very clean, the staff were all lovely and accomodating/.The Kabanas had a lot of stairs, the room was small and could have used beside tables and lamps. It is very noisy at night until at least midnight as there is live music close by. The Kabanas are not a good choice for those who want a quiet place.

My daughter and I spent 4 lovely days in one of the beautiful Cabanas on the property. The beach was footsteps away with the best beach staff for fresh foods and cocktails. At night we dined at local restaurants that had the best food I’ve had in this area of Mexico. Thank you to the entire staff and the town of Puerto Morelos for making us feel like family! We will definitely be back!!

The restaurant is okay, lunch and dinner is okay not too many options really but breakfast is good , many locals use the beach club daily so getting a beach chair isnt so easy, to take your order waiters take verry longg at the beach club , kabanas are not free , some staff members are a bit rude , kabana rooms are terrible , you can hear every single noise and conversation whether the person is below you or above you, you have no privacy what so ever !!! The people below us were terrible we could not sleep they ran the tv all night long on high volume also they reported us and said that we broke something in our room even though we did not , it may look cute and pretty here but it is not worth it if you are looking for a nice quiet calm private place to stay. It is very family oriented so thats nice if you do have a small family it would be a nice short stay, although i do not recommend.

This place has the coolest hideaway vibe. Great staff and amazing food and c Value. The restaurant overlooks the beach and the food is top notch. Serving staff were very attentive and tge drinks were great. The rooms are unique and i can say nothing negative. Huge value for your dollar here. We will be back.

I had a really great stay here overall! The room is better-than-basic, with a fridge, full-length mirror, balcony, and other nice touches. It was more than I expected from a budget friendly room! Pretty sure the shampoo, hand soap, and body wash were all the same stuff, so I was glad I brought my own. But a clean, pretty room in a quiet location well located for walking all over Puerto Morelos. The mini fridge was a great touch, and the hot water was really hot!

This is definitely a budget property. If you stay in a kabana you will hear the people above/below you. every word every noise. the property is nice and clean but the surrounding area and the entrance are a little rough looking. There isn’t even a sign for the hotel very confusing for transportation to and from. but the beach club makes it all worth it and the food is pretty good too.

The bed was comfortable and clean, the room distribution is awkward but for just a couple of nights is okay. The pool was not clean at all, you couldn't even see the bottom. After an hour of using the front row beach beds they asked us to move because those are not for hotel guests but for people who pay for the day-pass, which we found odd.

Decent condition, housekeeping stayed on top of it, we didn't need daily, every other worked fine. Upon arrival, many small pis ants on inside of the sheets. They stripped the bed all new. I continued to see them here and there lots of bites on side extremities and from knees down, directly & indirectly related. didn't see any bed bugs, but since the roof was made of straw & Palm tree branches they should seek professional Pest Control. we saw 2-4 roaches as well

The rooms could be updated. The advertisement of the pictures on the Internet are not with some of the rooms look like so make sure you tell them that you want the room that's on the pictures. There is a lot of ants due to the wood that they use to build the cabanas. It is a nice outdoor experience with the loved one and with the children nice beach night at atmosphere. And everyone was nice. Great food very peaceful nice relaxing vacation at this resort. Even walking up a block you have a lot going on and another part of the town. I can't remember the name of it, but I say I'll try it out a small town building up.

The Kabaña we stayed in was just constructed. It is a beautiful space. The shower is fantastic. The bed is ultra comfortable. As with all new construction, there are details that need to be addressed such as open gaps that allow mosquitoes in. A net over the bed would help. We stayed for 6 nights. We also stayed in the main building for 2 nights. It is dated but we would book the main hotel building for future stays. Both rooms were kept very clean. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. The free use of sun beds is a huge plus. The Kabaña rooms are on the same property as the Hotel and Beach Club Ojo de Agua. Google Earth has it marked incorrectly. This hotel is bare bones. Bring your own drinking glasses and hangers if you need them.

The Kabanas were rustic which I expected but I could hear the guy in the room above me snoring & could hear them peeing in the bathroom above. But the service at the restaurant was above par. My server Stephanie took care of me all week and the rest of the staff were amazing. I didn't spend too much time in my room to begin with so the cabin type room was fine with me. Plus I got such a good deal that nothing bothered me too much. Ohhh but one thing I would suggest would be to add a few lounge chairs to the pool. And maybe allow hotel guests to use the the beach chairs for free!?!!! It seemed everyone there were locals which is great.. they were all very nice and made great suggestions for local restaurants and such in Puerto Morelos. But they were paying to for their beach chairs so maybe paid Kabanas overnight guests could snag a chair for free at least one day?
