Lefkada

Lefkada is an expansive Greek island in the Ionian Sea, with a land bridge connecting it to mainland Greece. Also known as Lefkas or Leukas and Leucadia, the island is a popular holiday destination with local Greeks and Europeans.

There are many beautiful beaches to enjoy on Lefkada – none more so than the jaw-dropping Porto Katsiki, which is backed by a towering white cliff. The middle of the island is dotted with small towns and rich greenery. Head into the hills to find traditional tavernas and cute whitewashed churches in towns like Karia Kavallos and Agios Petros.
