"I had my reservation from Expedia and was fully paid in advance. When I arrived in the hotel they said they don’t accept Expedia Reservation. So they asked me to pay it in Cash because they don’t accept any kinds of payment. So I paid again so that we could have a room to sleep. Very bad Experience. This is the first time it happened to me. "

"I stayed in the hotel three nights and one extra night because of a passing typhoon. I have travelled the world and experienced a lot. This place is really something extra because of the owner and all the staff members. It is pure joy and the not so little extra they give you in order to have a laid back stay is something special.And it is genuine. So much positive energy. Ok - the place needs some new paint here and there but it is nothing compared what you get from all of the staff. "

The restaurant is very good, which is a good thing, because there really isn’t a lot of other dinning options nearby. Still, limited dinning takes a back seat to the wonderful setting and relaxing vibe. Of course, this is all true, but you should be aware that if there is one hotel on the island that is a destination for day tourist, it is Mandalong Rock Resort....

"This is my second time staying in this Hotel in a small Town, The first was alright, I met my basic expectation with regards to General Sense. The second time was a bit annoying. lots of kids playing, shouting, yelling around the Hallway and yet the staff seems dont give a care.
Staff needs to implement the rules about the noise of other guest walking and talking and playing and hanging out on the stairways during the late Hours. It disturbs sleeping guests in unusual hours. "
