Generally, it seemed that the staff did not care / was not up to the task.
First: Problems with check in. It took almost 30 minutes due to the reception’s confusion regarding the prepayment etc. One of the rooms was not cleaned properly. After new try – they just moved the trash from the room to the hall in front of the room. See the picture…
Second: The pool is a public pool open to everyone. We booked the hotel because we thought it was the hotel’s pool exclusively. Too many people in pool (from any part of the city)– no restrictions whatsoever in regard to COVID19. No hygienic measures to secure and avoid COVID19. Just a few lifeguards to keep eye…
Third: The bar was not helpful at all. After a very hot day we asked for some ice cubes for the kids, but we could not get it even though we offered to pay for it.
Fourth: The breakfast – there were only 3 employees to manage the breakfast session. when we entered into the restaurant one of the employees told us that she will make a table ready for us, but it did never happen. So finally, we had to make it by ourselves. The Coffee machine did not work properly, and the employees seemed to be clueless how to fix it. Simple things such as butter was missing and none of the employees could find butter as it was the rarest thing in the world. No smile – understandable as they were totally understaffed.
We paid almost 1,100 EUR for two nights – not worth it.
