They sold the hotel the day before we got there and there was only one staff member on duty. She was wonderful.

Overall the hotel seems a bit run down. It is a bit messy with chairs in the halls.
It says that breakfast is from 7-11, but when we arrived at the restaurant at 10:15 it was closed, and nobody was there.
We asked for the beds to be made every day, but it did not happen unless we asked for it again at the reception.
The outside lounge area was not very clean with cigarette buds everywhere.
The reception staff was not very helpful or friendly.

"Excellent service with genuine warmth, the opposite of "corporate vibes". If something's not ideal, talking to the staff is all it takes to make it right. The beds are superb, which is my #1 consideration in a hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but since I wasn't spending a lot of time in the room, this wasn't a problem for me. The location is great for visiting Cornell and downtown isn't too far either."

"The staff was wonderful and very helpful on things to experience while we were there. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with a nice set up. Unfortunately the outside was overgrown which might detour guests but they had a nice outside seating with fire pits to relax by. We had a great time."

"Great location! We loved how close everything was - plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, and a nice park all within easy walking distance. Free parking right behind the hotel on weekends was a bonus. Watkins Glen State Park is only about a half-hour drive away, too. The room itself was very clean, which we really appreciated."

"Vi havde behov for et stop mellem New York og Niagara Falls, fordi vi gerne ville forbi Finger Lakes og gå i bjergene. Valget faldt på Corning som by og Quality Inn, fordi hotellet fik gode samlede anmeldelser på hotels.com.
Efter vores opfattelse var hotellet elendigt - startende med en dør til værelset, som knapt kunne åbnes, fordi døren “sled mod gulvtæppet”. Gulvtæppet var decideret ulækkert, ligesom gulvtæppet på trappen op til vores værelse. Det samme med dyner, gardiner og badeforhæng. Alt trængte til fornyelse! Morgenmad var dårlig og flere af gæsterne var reelt også “tvivlsomme”. Selve byen er OK med en ganske fin hovedgade og et rigtig godt supermarked. Vi vil aldrig vælge dette hotel igen."
