Playhouse was in poor condition.
I will start by saying that the staff at the main hotel were fantastic.
We booked the Playhouse which is a separate cottage apart from the Manor.
It smelled so bad. It was moldy, it had a musty smell, and it smelled like something died under a bedroom. Febreeze plug-ins throughout means they know it smells bad. And they were empty to boot.
The furniture looks like items picked up at a yard sale. The bathroom is outdated and in poor condition with mold around the caulking. After being in there for a small time, I tried getting into the Manor for help. It was locked and no one was working there anyway. I called the main hotel and Dwight immediately offered us a room at the main hotel which was very nice, but absolutely necessary because I couldn’t breathe in the Playhouse. I did receive a “canceled” email for our stay, so I better still get rewards points for this stay because we paid a hefty price for a nasty room.
The booking price of $243 total was horrendous for what you get.
We had a nice stay at the main hotel so it worked out well, but it’s obvious that the White Springs Manor is in need of updating and having staff on site.
