Avoid this place. Power outages daily, and their generator only powers water. Neighboring hotels have full generators; choose one of them.
There were about 15 things that went wrong during our (Honeymoon) stay, but I'll just stick to the worst:
I made a cup of coffee in the room with the Nespresso machine they provided. I took a sip, and it tasted like alcohol. I had not had a drop of alcohol in over four years. My wife and I are both sober. We told them this when they offered us a welcome drink at check-in. I smelled the tank of the Nespresso, and it smelled like alcohol.
I brought it to the front desk, and an employee working named Irving agreed that it smelled like alcohol. My wife went back up a bit later, and he said that he and the rest of the staff figured out it smelled and tasted like gin.

Management refused to speak to us during our entire stay there, instead relaying info through the front desk staff. We told them we drank a lot of coffee and even requested extra Nespresso pods. I am trying not to think that the gin in the tank was intentional because we complained about some issues after we saw our room, but based on how we were treated the rest of our stay, I can't rule it out.
Additionally, the beach club included in the room's cost was covered in seaweed and unswimmable. The staff at the club told us the entire island was inundated. We luckily found out day 2 that Punta Coco had clean beaches, so we spent $100 a day on cabs and chairs elsewhere. Avoid.
