Mold-mycotoxins. Asthma attack.
Mold alert for anyone who has asthma. There’s some hidden water damage mold somewhere around room 314. Nothing gives me asthma attacks except for specific types mold related to long term water damage or leaks. Dozens or more hotels and Airbnbs and it has only happened to me on 4 occasions so it’s not a guess, it’s not paranoia.
I’ll be making a report to the hotel, an employee did tell me they’ve had to replace the bathtub caulking quite often.
I only wrote this review in case a vulnerable person sees it and can make a good decision. If you have an asthmatic in your group please don’t stay here. Luckily I was only in the room to sleep and as soon as I walked outside my asthma cleared up but when I was in the room even my inhaler wouldn’t stop it. It’s like a choking sensation when there’s direct exposure.
If any employee sees this and thinks they’ve been sickly since taking this job you need to leave unless they remediate and get a clear test of the air.
The hotel is so great otherwise, honestly. I loved it until I woke up with asthma after 7 hours of sleep. I really hope they get it tested and fixed by mold experts.
