It was great to experience this tradition of artwork and habits from previous times. The hotel is very small (only six rooms) and personal. All furnishings seem original, but some paintings are from later times.
Breakfast was varied and very good, fresh orange juice, fried eggs at the request of guests, tea, coffee etc. etc. At the reception desk, Marie, a Belgian girl, welcomed us and was exceptionally good at informing us as well as speaking very good English and indeed some other languages.
