An excellent hotel with superb staff. Standout employees were the two doormen, Saeed who showed us to our room, Robert (one of the managers) and Germaine the cocktail mixologist.
Our rooms were excellent and we loved the pools and the gym. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and very good quality. The hotel ambiance is something else, it’s really lovely.
The hotel is a refurbished Fort Canning Hotel and has only been open since October ‘25.
The only improvements needed are around the breakfast service which is disorganised and very slow. Both mornings we had to wait half an hour for coffees, which is unacceptable anywhere, let alone a 5* hotel. Also when food and juices ran out they weren’t replenished.
In all honesty that was a minor niggle in what was a delightful stay. We really enjoyed our time at The Mett, thank you!
