While the feel of a typical Parisian neighbourhood hotel, is certainly present at Hotel Louison, the hotel is recently renovated and brought the standard of the contemporary boutique hotel. While it's only a three star property it has all the necessary facilities and staff is excellent and very service minded. Rooms are small but works well, AC works flawlessly and there's no noise from the street. Louison is not exactly at the centre of the 6th arondissement, but a 15 min walk down Rue fe Vaugiraud, passing the Louxenbourg gardens will put you in the middle of everything. If you don't fancy the walk but want to stay in the neighbourhood, there is a excellent bistro right around the corner. The business traveler could miss an iron to straighten the shirt. The only real downside is the very slow (borderline useless) Wifi. Coverage is good but speed sucks....
