My family and I stayed here for 7 days. We found the location of the hotel on the 5th floor of the building to be frustrating given the elevator situation. There is one, very small elevator with a low weight limit. My wife, 14 year old son and I all could not ride the elevator up together with even a backpack on (and we barely fit inside it). If you have lots of luggage, good luck getting it up there. The other problem is the door of the elevator is not automatic. Quite a few times during our stay, people would get out at the higher floors and not close the door behind them which means you must walk up 5 flights of stairs (during a heat wave at this particular time). We encountered other guests who were frustrated by this situation too.
The bathroom in our room is in dire need of repair. There were shower tiles broken, visible rust, and messy attempts of repair with caulking. The shower was small and the curtain not proper length so we constantly got water on the floor no matter how hard we tried. The rest of the room was clean and in decent shape and the air conditioning system was lovely during the heat wave. The hotel is in an old building and there were exposed wires in entrance to the building before going up to the hotel. Perhaps nothing dangerous, but unsightly all the same.
On the positive side, the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful and we found the breakfast enjoyable each day and the AC was excellent.
