It was our first time ever using a B&B, so we don't have a frame of reference for other B&B's. It was definitely better than staying in a boring chain hotel room. The Staff is very friendly and inviting. Breakfast was the only real downside to the stay. Choices were very limited. I believe much of it was reheated in a microwave, muffins were clearly store-bought and heated up before serving, food was over-spiced or over-salted, and no other food service was offered at anytime of day or night. Probably better off going down the road a few minutes to the bakery (there are virtually no chain restaurants in the area). The property is ok, with room to roam, and the house itself is pretty nice for a 180-year old structure. There are SO many fun things to do in a very short driving range if you like hiking, wineries, breweries, scenic overlooks and, of course, skiing in the winter. The whole area is gorgeous!
