We are experienced travellers both pleasure and business vice. Unfortunately, this Hotel is just not something you want to come back to ever. Check in was around midnight, no information of our VIP exclusive gold options like upgrades, special discounts etc. actually no info.
The room was booked as a superior room, but we were given a standard deluxe room at the size of a shoebox it had an odd smell, windows could not open, warn out furniture, shower was not working properly, switching between ice-cold and burning hot water, making it impossible to shower. Next morning, we line up in the reception que for a long time and overheard several unsatisfied guests complaining about their stay – but not our review and judgment call. We argued the problems with the room type and the shower and were told that they would send maintenance and that our booking was a standard deluxe room. They could not offer us an upgrade.
Maintenance could not fix the show before Monday, this was Saturday. We had to be very firm about solving the problem. Eventually they moved us to another shoebox, at the price of more than 230 pound/night. Check out, again a long que due to guests were complaining about their stay. On the positive side the concierges were very welcoming providing good service, regarding restaurants bookings and providing taxies. Summary, do yourself a favour find another Hotel.
