Terrible communication. Called three people to find out where to go. Finally when we got in touch, they said helped bring our bags to the room, and informed us there was an issue with the pool of our room (whole reason we stayed there because it was our honeymoon). The manager finally came after saying he would b there in 5 minutes, 25 minutes later he finally came and said he told us what to do which was not true. There was no communication about arrival. There was an issue with the pool and they didn’t have another room with one and would have to offer to transfer us to another sister property which was an upgrade but it was 30 minutes away and not in the area we planned for.
Felt like the manager was disingenuous about the whole thing. We had been traveling for over a month and know what to expect and be treated and felt like there was no accountability. We are grateful for the attempt to upgrade us but it was not what we planned for and we did not appreciate the lack of communication and honestly straight up lies.
