Friendly & personal service in a quiet location
The staff were largely great, very helpfull, smiling and attentive. The rooms are good, spacious and the bed very comfortable. Shower above usual US standard. Food in the restaurant excellent,(I ate both in the bar and restaurant), and great service, little or now waiting time. The location was quiet, almost no traffic, apart fromt he Church across the rode which chimed (very discreetly), this did not disturb me at night. (maybe it doesn´t chime then?)Only thing I would improve would be the breakfast buffet, which could be more "lavish" / varied. Also the coffee machine in the room only made coffee from capsules, only one tea product. As a European, I prefer tea in the mornings, why don´t US hotels cater for this, by placing kettle and tea bags alongside the filter machine?
