Our stay was good at Hotel Belleclaire.
The pluses are location(!!!), the staff was great, the old building was cool and the room was tidy and updated, especially the bathroom.
The negatives were the room was nothing like the picture of a duplicate room. It was the bed, 2 nightstands and a desk/small dresser. The basics but I was expecting more. And a big downer was there was a window, but it was tiny and looked out at nothing. The hotel is in a great area with many rooms facing the front and side, but ours was a huge letdown. It felt dark and cave-like.
All in all, it was a place to stay in a great walkable location near Central Park so it worked fine for us. I think having a nice window would have made up for the tiny room.
