"Great hotel right off the toll road. Ashley was the front desk attendant when we checked in. We went to the room and realized we had booked a smaller room than we thought. We thought we had booked a suite with a separate bedroom. I went down to speak with Ashley about my mistake, and she politely upgraded us to a suite at no additional charge. Incredibly nice hotel. The lobby, rooms, and exterior were well maintained and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Springfield...

"Beautiful lakefront property. Spacious, clean room. Breakfast was basic, but it's close to Lee where there are plenty of beautiful coffeeshops and restaurants. I rented a kayak one morning and the lake was incredibly peaceful."

It was just the touch of ease and hospitality we needed to make our evening worry free. The giant, comfy, king bed provided the restful night's sleep we needed.We'd definitely stay here again! "Stayed there for a small ski trip. Apart from a slightly boring breakfast, everything about the hotel was fine - from good parking spaces to clean and tidy rooms, to very friendly and helpful staff. And a well-stocked sundries as well. Heard lots of families with small children in a good mood, and the pool seemed to be a big hit. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Ski Butternut!"

"This is an incredible hotel: one of the absolute BEST hotels I have booked in years. It is very unique, only about 20 minutes from Tangelwood, and it gorgeous. I booked a premium room and it was HUGE: very large room w high ceilings, massive bathroom, very clean. I will definitely return to this hotel with every tangelwood booking. "

"I was in town to attend an inspection on a house we made an offer on in nearby Becket. The Whitlock was perfect for me. It was conveniently located, in town, close to dining, and with easy parking. The inn was historic, charming, and had lots of character. It was exactly what I was looking for. There is now staff available on premises from 7 am to 10 pm. I was able to check in on site. The outer doors were locked at night. I would definitely come back."
