10/10 Enestående

Easy to find, comfortable, dry and warm.
The building is on London Road, about 10 to 15 minutes from the bus stop (near the church).
I had booked a single room but got upgraded to a double room (larger than the 2 flats I rented when I was living in Bristol!). It was just above the pub, so it's a bit noisy until 10pm but that was fine with me as there was no noise in the corridor outside the room.
The room was quite warm (19 degrees Celsius) and really dry (60% humidity), the building it old, so the plumbing is a bit noisy, but there is an electric shower, so there aren't any issues getting warm water. There is a sign above the toilets saying that blocked toilets will incur a fine of £250: this is the going rate, as I learnt from a fellow renter who had to fork out £200 + VAT to get his toilets unblocked by a plumber, and is still waiting for the landlord to refund him (he had just moved into the property).
The bed was so comfortable that I didn't leave the room until the next morning (I had also found a movie I'd been wanting to watch for years on YouTube) however the pub downstairs looks like a really nice place to have an evening meal, they serve Pieminster pies, and on Sunday there is a carvery, starting at £14.
I really enjoyed my stay, especially as my previous visits to Keynsham (to visit houseshares) had been disappointing. The staff/owners were friendly and non intrusive.
I will definitely stay there again if I am in the area.
