We had booked 3 night in a de-lux apartment at the Ashburn Court .
We were delayed one day due to canceled of flight, but as we had prepaid for 3 night I did nox expected that this should be an issue. When we arrived on the 2. day, the hotel had cancelled our reservation and had re-leted our room. One available room was in a dark and damp basement - far from what we had expected when booking a de-lux apartment.
I spoke to the manager at the night at arrival, and he promised to move us up to a de-lux apartment on the last night and that we would have reimbursed the first night as compensation for us accepting the basement for the first night.
We never got moved to another apartment and needed to stay in the basement for our last night and when asking for the promised refund the manager could not remember that this has been promised to us.
All in all a very bad experience and my conclusion are that we were only promised both the move to another apartment and the reimbursement to keep us quite as long we were at the hotel.
This behavior is totally not acceptable and I can only warn others for trusting any promised from the hotel management.
