I was at the end stages of a cold, so i went back to our room to get some rest while my wife spent more time with our daughter and two of our grandkids, who were staying in a different room. We were on the 2nd floor. Then a large dig began barking, over and over. I waited for about 20 minutes to see if the dog would stop. It didn’t. I called the front desk to ask of they would investigate. They said they would. The barking continued. After about another 15 minutes, I decided to get dressed and find where the barking came from. It was the room directly below us. Someone checked in with a 'service' dog, then left the dog in their room while they went out for the evening. This was not a true, trained service dog. My wife came back, and we couldn't take anymore of the constant barking, so we asked to be moved. No offer to help us move, no offer to adjust the cost due to this issue.
The view was beautiful and the room was comfortable, but the barking dog and subsequent lack of concern for our troubles was not good.
