Warm welcome, clean room, nice pool area, and a clean beach. They clean their beach everyday which is nice for the guests. They also have beach chairs and umbrellas for their guests.
Breakfast was nice, there was a good variety to choose from.
Baan Fah is in China Town, which was a nice surprise. It’s a quieter place than other parts of the island, which means less crowded beaches, but with the same variety of street food, shops, restaurants, and massage places.
The massage place two doors down was wonderful, very clean, and right next door was a very helpful travel place to arrange tours and travel. Across the street was a laundry drop off with next day pick up and a nice family restaurant.
Baan Fah is not a bells and whistles resort, they don’t offer turn down service or a gym, but what they do offer will make your stay worth it. It’s a great place to stay for friendly service, clean rooms, convenience, a relaxing beach, or to just unwind and enjoy the local life.
And like most hotels, they also have a very friendly resort dog who greets you day or night.
