I booked this property months in advance and requested a lower-floor room due to a hip injury that makes stairs difficult. Based on prior reviews mentioning an elevator, I assumed accessibility wouldn’t be an issue or that I would be notified if it was.
Upon arrival, I was assigned a room on one of the highest floors (four flights up). The lockbox instructions were unclear, requiring multiple trips up and down the stairs. The elevator referenced in earlier reviews was still out of service.
I contacted the property to ask about possible alternatives. The conversation was uncomfortable, unproductive and dismissive, and the manager repeatedly emphasized that this was a business and that no refund would be considered, nor was I offered any solutions, flexibility, or a simple apology for this oversight.
Because of this, I chose not to stay and forfeited the full cost of the reservation. Between the lack of accommodation and the way this situation was handled, I would not recommend this property to anyone expecting basic consideration or professionalism.
