Our room was spacious and very clean, with a very comfortable bed. Katy very kindly upgraded us to a bigger room, and although I'm not really a fan of a shower over the bath, we made it work, and it was great to have the extra space - thanks Katy.
It was an absolute godsend to have the aircon, and although it was a little noisy, we couldn't have done without it in the recent heatwave!
Our hosts were both helpful when needed, and we felt well looked after, especially with the lovely breakfasts they provide. Along with fruit,granola and yogurt, they offer a different cooked breakfast every day, and both we had were excellent. It was great to sit in the garden, chat to other guests, and get a great start to the day.
The location is about 6 minutes walk from the train station, about 10 minutes into town, and 25 minutes to the citadel of Carcassonne. It also has several restaurants in the vicinity and the wifi works well. Access was very straightforward, and it was a nice bonus having bottles of cold water available to guests. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend the hotel.
