I read the reviews before booking, and know it’s a historic building, I required a/c, which their info confirms, but that’s false. Rooms have those window units, but not all rooms. Sadly our room didn’t have it, and there was a street light that shown like the sun into our hot room. I could see where a pull down shade existed but none existed. The beds were AWFUL!! The receptionist seemed professional enough but why put your guests in such a subpar room when you have other rooms available? This all might be tenable if it were an $100 a night room but it was double that. I am a roll with it human, but this place missed the mark. Stay away from room 18.
