This property gives Hilton a bad representation. Upon arrival we were told the elevators were down and was told they were trying to contact us prior to arrival in order to let us know but no one called me or emailed me prior. I was then told we were going to be placed on the 3rd floor in which we would have to carry luggage and 2 toddlers and 2 younger children up. They offered us a refund but after driving 9 hrs and having 4 young children, the last thing i wanted was to have to shop around for another property. They also said that the refund wouldn’t be available immediately as it would take 7-10 business days and since we were coming to bring the kids on a spring break vacation, the last thing i needed was to spend another $600 out of the money we had designated for our kids to have fun. Next the breakfast was horrible. It is definitely a continental breakfast and not a hot breakfast. There was nothing there for kids so if you have kids and they like a good breakfast, this hotel is not it. They have bagels, boiled eggs, the worst cereal possible (raisin bran, cornflakes) and apples… The coffee was weak although it’s listed as serving Folgers but there was no way that was Folgers.
Next since we were staying 4 days they said we would receive room service every 2 days so on the second day we left our room and went out for a few hrs..Upon return around 5pm our room was still dirty. I called down and had to ask for service. Horrible hotel esp w/kids!
