OK
We arrived around 9 pm after a long drive. We had pre-booked and pre-paid the stay for 1 night. When we arrived the receptionist just looked at us and said “checking in?” And when we said yes, he asked for ID and credit card. He was very rude and seemed like he didn’t care about us. He didn’t welcome us, he didn’t explain the piece of paper he put in front of us and wanted us to sign, he didn’t explain why we had to pay something extra even though we had pre-paid the stay through hotels.com. I had to ask for all the information and he kind of seemed annoyed about that.
The room was OK. We did find some dead bugs and I would definitely have chosen a different interior design. The brown walls and lack of natural lighting, made the room seem like a cave (we were on the ground floor.) and the window faced nothing. A wall. The refrigerator smelled like some food had gone bad in there.
But the room had clean towels, an OK comfortable bed and coffee machine.
The breakfast was fine but not a lot of options.
Overall it was OK but we would probably look else where if we were to visit this part of US again. Not worth the money spent.
