Complete relaxation
My wife and I have visited Jordan for the frist time where we decided to stay at the Kempinski hotel in Aqaba. We chose the hotel because it had the best reviews among the 5 stars hotels in Aqaba. We fully agree with these positive reviews. The rooms are large, light and clean and all with a balcony facing direct to the beautiful beach. The people staying at the hotel is a good mix of all cultures but not loud adding to the general picture of creating a room for relaxation. The staff all over the place at the restaurant, servicing the rooms, at the beach or at the front desk are all very service-minded. Non of the staff have been pushy. Mary at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant was brilliant. The beach and the pool area was nicely kept with room for everyone. We use our stay as a hub for going to Petra and Wadi Rum. Aqaba as a city is ok and not entirely for tourists so it gives you a true feeling of being in the Miidle East. Efficient wifi at the beach and inside the hotel.

It was a pleasant stay in Kempinski. We had a welcome drink at the reception, got a beautiful room on the 2nd-floor and then had a complimentary fruit plate in our room. Beach and facilities are great, the jacuzzi is exceptional. We also enjoyed the spa and highly appreciated a complimentary late check out. The only awkward moment we had during our stay was the breakfast service. We asked for coffee 3 times and still it wasn't enough to get a cup of coffee. Somehow at the end of our breakfast we managed to get it. Overall, it's a great hotel and we would highly recommend it for your Aqaba trip.

Both the quality and the quantity of staff were very very high. Polite, friendly and smiley. The hotel itself is kept immaculate. The rooms are amazing: spacious and airy. An overall feeling of peace and calm. The food was very good. Fresh with a great variety. The beach is perfect and well maintained. I wish I could live there!

Still a good choice for Aqaba
Although it is still quite nice, this hotel is starting to show some small signs of age. Perhaps a bigger concern is that the dinner we had was mediocre. Breakfast, however, was much better.

Great experiance
Before writing about the hotel i have to thank the hotel Staff as they are super nice , all are welcoming and at your service . The hotel it self is so clean nice and relaxing . Breakfast is not super but its OK if i compare it to other Kempenski hotels in different areas and countries i rate their breakfast as a 4 star hotel . Rooms are good clean and the sea view is breathtaking . I have one negative comment that my booking was pay on desk not through my credit card , they omit one night before my stay claiming that this is the hotel policy tried to contact Hotels.com to solve this issue but the hotel refused to keep the reservation without omitting one night. Surprisingly on the same date of check in they tried to omit again the whole amount from my credit card !! without informing me but the transaction were declined thankfully , called them and informed them not to omit the amount again as i am planning to pay cash on desk !! Kempenski financial team you need to read the booking payment terms as you are not allowed to omit money without taking the customer approval.

I expected the SPA area to be way richer with facilities and much more luxurious like the kempinski dead sea spa so i was a bit disappointed.

Amazing stay.
Amazing stay, the hotel is in execellent location, with a private beach. Rooms are very comfortable. we booked 2 rooms and the hotel provided us with connecting doors, excellent for our family. Service is excellent and friendly (rooms, near the pool, reception). Breakfast buffet is delicious and has lots of choices of bood and beverages.

Excellent service from Kempinski Aqaba. Beautiful resort by the water with its own private beach and pool. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed 3 relaxing days by the water here. They were flexible with check in time. Good breakfast buffet. We had an early flight leaving - they provided us with breakfast boxes to take with us. Walking distance to many different restaurants if you’re up for leaving the resort. Felt very safe doing so every night. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The staff were excellent, always polite and attentive. The pool and beach were clean and had plenty of sunbeds. The ambience of the hotel, especially at night, was lovely. There was calming music and mood lighting that really helped to make you relax.

Fabulous hotel
Beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms. All with stunning views. We are a family of 5 so sometimes it is tricky to find hotels that will accommodate us with connecting rooms but this hotel made it very easy and happily added an extra bed. Excellent checkin thanks to Mohammed, Daisy, Marianne, Mary and Jose were very helpful in dining. Christine gave an amazing massage. Pool area was stunning but the main pool wasn’t heated so it was very cold. Beach team were great and looked after us very well, great area for kids to play and my boys loved the table tennis. Very nice food but no a la Carré menu for the evening which was disappointing. There is a restaurant called fish which was excellent but no one was eating there...this was February half term so only the start of the season though. We were lucky with the weather as it was perfect coming from UK winter. The front desk were very helpful in organizing a trip to Petra for us with breakfast and lunch boxes as it was a 5am start! Lovely stay for 3 nights. Nothing negative to say about the hotel apart from the cold pool.

Outstanding service and great facilities
We booked 2 nights after our trip across Jordan. It was just what we wanted nice and peaceful location, great amenities and staff going extra mile. We had a small issue during the checking, were asked to pay additional fee for the roll bed. The hotels booking process did not highlight the additional charge and was showing as paid for 3. We were well impressed with professionalism of Nasar, receptionist that was checking us in. He was extremely polite and helpful throughput the process.

A very welcoming hotel, right on the beach, with a gorgeous view of the red sea. Wonderful staff. The Jacuzzi is great, the beach chairs very comfortable. The Spa is fun. Big variety of food. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

We had an excellent experience at the Kempinski Hotel Aqaba Red Sea. Staff were attentive to our every need, hotel facilities were in excellent condition, room had a lovely view of the sea. Would definitely recommend!

We were all disappointed. The hotel was pretty and we slept well, but they took a long time to get us into our rooms, even though we arrived after their stated check-in time. The dinner was the biggest disappointment. It was a little worse than mediocre. By comparison, breakfast was actually quite good. I would definitely look at other hotels if we were in Aqaba again.

It is with regret to read that your experience at our hotel was not up to your expectations nor satisfactory for you. Please accept my apologies for not having your third room ready upon arrival and after 3.00 pm. Our Housekeeping team was working very hard to have almost all rooms cleaned and inspected on time of our advertised check-in time. Unfortunately one of your rooms was one of the few with little delay due to busy hotel operations. Your comments on our buffet dinner have been passed on to our Executive Chef to investigate with his team and further improve our culinary offerings. Please rest assured that your remarks are well noted and are highly appreciate it to help us further improving our services and offerings. I like everything about the hotel except one thing.. the twin beds we had in our room were very small and uncomfortable. If you offer two single beds, you should offer comfort.

House keeping staff are stars...impeccably clean hotel. Lovely staff, super helpful....staff mostly foreign but there are also local employees and all are professional and friendly. Only issue for me were other guests, loud and all smoking....breakfast buffet is packed like the Tokyo subway...next time I will go in the off season...

The accommodations and service at this hotel is first rate. We even got a sympathy card from the staff when they found out my wife was not feeling well. The breakfast is amazing and the customer service is simply the best!!

Clean and elegant
Had a wonderful stay here. The staff were attentive, kind and professional. The room was clean, fresh and well appointed. The design of the entire establishment is sleek and elegant as well as comfortable. I would stay here again if coming to Aqaba.

Over Charged. Poor Customer Service.
I was over charged for my stay. Hotels.com quoted me and I decided to pay at the hotel upon check out. I have three different charges from Kempinski and I’m having difficulty getting my refund. Absolutely horrible experience!

Relaxation by the sea
Loved the sea view balcony, pool area with gazebo beds and beach side. Perfect for relaxation and near to local restaurants and snorkelling trips. Service sometimes slow at the bars but overall we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it.
