This place should be 5*’s and easily could be but our experience was not great.
Firstly, it is not worth the money. This is evidenced by the fact that of the 80+ airstreams, on a Saturday night in September when the National Park was ridiculously busy, we estimated only 10 airstreams were in use.
The staff need training. In comparison to Under Canvas (which in our opinion is a direct competitor and 5*’s!!!!) the staff couldn’t be less helpful. When we checked in there was minimal interaction. Unlike Under Canvas, despite having a golf trolley to help with bags, we had to do all this ourselves. They didn’t tell us about the cooking facilities and skillet / utensils we could borrow or the breakfast opportunities.
The website also says FULLY functioning kitchenette - this does NOT include a stove just FYI. We expected an electric stove top but there is not one provided so not fully functioning in our opinion.
We were also astonished that we had to pay for wood for the outdoor grill that was the only cooking option! Given the amount we paid for accommodation plus there is a resort fee we were speechless.
This place is FAR TOO EXPENSIVE for what it is as it is basically just a fancy caravan. We stayed in Springdale for 3 nights before this for less money, on the park bus route and a much better experience.
