Where's the glam?
I am confused. I don't see any glam. The name is completely misleading. The hotel is not glam. Our room was not glam.
Both were very basic.
The hotel has an odd smell when you enter. Is that asbestos?? It was a weird musty smell that isn't good at all...
Still trying to figure out what that is.
The beds are terribly uncomfortable. They are hard and offer no cushion. We slept like crap in this bed.
The shower drains very slowly and if you aren't careful you could easily over flow the shower. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner and soap are tiny. Seriously, the smallest bar of soap I have ever seen.
The air conditioner turned off by itself in the middle of the night. It just randomly shuts off. What good is that if you have to wake up every couple of hours to turn the air conditioner back on??? And you need to leave your key in the slot for the lights and air to work. So, if my husband leaves the room and takes the key, I have no lights or air.
Stupidness.
I am not a fan of this hotel. The only redeeming qualities are that it is right next to the train station and there's some food spots right next door. But the train station means it brings weird people and homeless looking around too. So, the area is a bit sketchy. I would not recommend for the price. There's got to be better places to stay for the price.
