"We were very happy with our stay at the Ocean Trails Resort. We stayed in a 3-bedroom condo as a family of five. We needed a late check-in, which the staff handled proactively and smoothly, and the unit was very clean and tidy as soon as we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for meals, and the layout was perfect for our family, allowing my wife and me to plan our next day's activities while the kids were in bed.
The entire resort was well kept, and everyone we met at the resort, including staff, residents, and other guests, was friendly. Access to the beach was easy, parking spaces are large for big vehicles, and the pool area is well maintained.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely look to stay here again on our next family vacation to the Parksville area.
The only suggestion for improvement would be to provide some kind of delineation for private spaces directly outside each unit. This isn't a big deal to everyone, but we found it a bit unsettling when people would walk only 5 to 10 feet away from the patio and look directly into our unit as they went to their unit elsewhere."
