Observant Jews stay here with caution
I do appreciate that while their reservation called for me to be on the 9th floor they were able to change it to 3rd floor at check-in on my request.
But I really had to downrate b/c:
no hard keys available. I, like many travelers to that area, am an observant Jew and using card keys is forbidden on our Sabbath (which my stay included). If I had had an alternative I wouldnt have stayed at CrownPlz. 10 Commandments means I don't accept their alternative of having staff assist us to enter the room on Sabbath.
Same problem with the electric-only entry doors to hotel.
And on check-in and 1st room entry (before Sabbath) what always happens everywhere happened: the card key didnt work and I had to get another one, which is pretty inconvenient when you have a bunch of luggage.
Lastly this was the weekend when the clocks changed and the wake-up call system couldnt handle that.
So 3 not-new problems. They really should be solved.
