Avoid
Arrived and saw signs advising me to take my valuables inside and lock my car. Entrance was unclear and it turns out the code they text you for your room also works for all the doors. All rooms face a covered courtyard, which was dense with the muggy, chlorine air coming from the pool. My room had one window facing the parking lot and the noisy highway. My coffee machine was broken. My tub was clogged and after a shower I was standing in right inches of water and had to rinse my feet. My toilet was loosened from the ground and rocking on the floor. Breakfast offered included coffee, cheap pastries and yogurt, oatmeal, and a dirty DIY waffle station. Any eggs or meats were extra. The coffee was so poor and light that it tasted closer to tea. If this were the only hotel in Amarillo, I would rather drive 50 miles to the next town before staying again.

Stay here
Surprisingly super! Large pool, Texas size cornhole games, 24 hour gift/snack shop, laundry facilities, awesome breakfast choices! Elevators… no stairs.

Restaurant was great! Pool closes at 9pm so it's a bit noisy until then if kids are swimming.

2/10 Poor

Looks can be Deceiving...
To say the least, the pictures online literally make you feel catfished. It is NOT that nice. You can tell this hotel is now owned by new people, and they're TRYING to remodel; but it's not the best. The room had a residual smoke smell as if the walls weren't cleaned before painted, the bathroom just felt gross and there was rust on the metal in the bathtub, the bathroom door would get stuck because it wasn't level. There isn't a room phone, and the bedside outlets are loose. We were told "everything closes by 9" yet there was a rodeo watch party across from the front desk that went on till 1am and they were LOUD. "Continental breakfast" consisted of cereal (no milk), dry bread for toast, looks like there was bagels, some oatmeal packs, yogurt and waffles (that's if there wasn't some lady making them for her whole family of 8) if you want eggs or anything else expect to pay for them. Definitely won't be back

Needs a grassy area for dogs
We have stayed here several times in the past, and this time we brought our dog with us. She's old and doesn't care for flooring very much, but got along just fine. There isn't any place to take her outside and let her do her business though, no grass anywhere. But at the hotel next door, they have some grass that came in handy.
