Our stay at Swiss Star Hotel was okay overall, but there were several disappointing aspects. The check-in process had a bit of a learning curve, but we eventually figured it out. One major frustration was the lack of a way to contact anyone for help — the number provided didn’t work on our international phones, which left us feeling pretty stuck.
The room itself was clean enough, but the patio had broken glass scattered all over it, making it completely unusable. The building in general felt a bit run down and dirty, which didn’t match the expectations set by the listing.
Another big letdown was the parking situation. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because parking was listed as available, but there was none for our stay. We ended up parking at a nearby hotel, which worked out, but it wasn’t ideal.
It’s an affordable option close to the airport, and for that reason, it served its purpose — but I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
