My partner and I stayed for two nights in an explorer cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is small, but had almost everything we needed.
It would have been lovely to have basic necessities provided such as salt, sugar, coffee and tea, as it seems excessive and wasted to have to buy a kilo of sugar and salt for just a few days.
Additionally the kitchen was just a bit too small, and it was difficult to cook there.
The cabin had lovely skylights but these were covered in snow and not cleared even though it didn’t snow during our stay, so they were essentially useless.
We had two single beds and no big top mattress to keep them together, so the beds kept sliding apart during the night making sleeping a bit uncomfortable.
Finally the shower door could not stay open so we had to use the bin to hold the door when we wanted to shower.
Overall we had a good stay, but if the items above had been improved, we would have loved the stay! We would definitely come back if these aspects are addressed.
