The night cleek was extremely rude and not serviceminded at all. Unfortunately that reflects in my overall rating.
The place was really nice. Receptionists amazing. Great room and atmosphere.
I booked a one night 4-people-sharing room. When I checked in no one else was in the dorm.
I went out and around town for fantasy fest and when I got back around 2am I thought I would ask the night clerk if he could tell me if other peiple checked in my room. Its nice to know what to be prepared for and how silently I should approach. Its also nice to know if everyone is “counted for” before going to bed so I dont wake up to unexpected people in the room. When asked he just asked me back as to why I would need that information. I told him its nice to know what to expect so I can sleep better. To which he said well either you are alone or there is up to four. Being aware if that basic info I elaborated and told him its just nice to know who should be in my room and asked him why I couldnt check it for me. To which he replied: Its not that a cant. I dont need/want to.
You know, a little service goes a long way. This waw in poor taste and unnessecary. He had no reason for not doing his job. I understand if there is some policy about disclosure. But then he should have said that and not start lecturing me about what he thinks he need to do and what not. I overall had a pleasent stay but a chain is not stronger than its weakest link. This ‘costumer service’ would not work in my country
