Hotel: Nice and clean, and a decent size for a Parisian hotel. We stayed in a deluxe double room, with balcony facing the yard. The beautiful bathroom was almost the same size as the room, and well equipped with products, robes, slippers, hairdryer, great shower and mirrors. A great room, comfy beds, lots of closet space, no noise from the streets etc. :-) The staff was extreamly helpful 24-hours a day throughout our stay, both in the form of recommendations, reservations, taxis and chauffeurs. Great concierge service. We skipped the breakfast, since it didn't look very interesting, which I was actually pretty surprised about, after the many good recommendations I had read about exactly this. Otherwise, there was not a finger to put on our stay. I can highly recommend Les Jardins de la Villa, and would very much like to stay there again. Location: Good - it is located on a quiet side street. There is a Starbucks close by, and it takes no time to walk to the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées and Avenue Montaigne, where you will find all the high end stores. Watch out for pickpockets in Paris!! Just around the corner, there is a really good French restaurant, which features fresh fish, oysters, etc. Super authentic and delicious food. In addition, I can recommend Buddha Bar - it is absolutely amazing food and defiantly worth a visit. The area has everything nearby - restaurants, shopping, nightclubs, etc. but as in any other big city, expect to walk a lot ;-) Bon voyage!
