Super views and comfort overlooking the bay
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Regina. The location was magical and it was well-worth booking a sea view room to look out at Vesuvius across the beautiful Gulf of Naples. Our room was very comfortable, bed and linens were great. The included breakfast had lots of quality options. I loved all the tasty vegetable dishes, lovely cakes, bacon, fresh squeezed butter orange juice. You could also order omelets, fried eggs, pancakes, or crepes cooked to order. Best of all was watching the bay come alive in the morning from the fourth floor breakfast room.

We were lucky - a small wedding reception else happening during our arrival so once we got to our corner room with double balcony, we were able to open the balcony doors, let the sea breeze flow through and enjoy the live music. Wonderful rooftop bar. Super easy to walk a couple of blocks back towards town to enjoy the Sorrento charm and everything lemons. About three blocks from the lift that takes you down to the sea level beaches and ferry - which is very convenient - we decided to cancel our vehicle transfer to Positano and grab the ferry. Staff was excellent!

The property is nice the staff very friendly. The breakfast was good. Dinner was ok only ate there once for dinner. Location work good for us walking distance to everything we want to see or do. The noise from outside was a bit loud by we would stay again. You won’t be disappointed.

Location and room was perfect, clean and tidy throughout our 3 day stay. The setting for breakfast was truly amazing, seating outside with the glorious views across the sea towards mount Vesuvius was breathtaking. Only 1 complaint is really aimed at Expedia. Point 1) NO gym facility, which was clearly shown in the photos. When i approached the reception i was told that there has not been a gym for 3/4 years. I showed the receptionist the photo and said while in my gymwear, that one of reasons why i booked was because the gym! Within 5 mins the photo was taken down from the website. Point 2) Expedia website doesnt provide any facility to complain about any problems. This has made me doubt any future bookings with Expedia. I will wait to see if Expedia respond to my concerns.
