I'll start with we were issued a refund, that we did not ask for. But, when we checked in there were several dirty washcloths and hairs in the tub. The rest of the room was fine. We brought the used and wadded up cloths to the front desk and Tara, staff person on duty, was going to call mgmt. When we got back from dinner, the room was not cleaned and we could not get moved. Tara, said she couldn't have it cleaned because our things were in there. What happens when you stay more than 1 night? It gets cleaned then. It was disgusting. She said housekeeping would deal with it in the morning. I cleaned the shower.
We use Hampton for the consistent, quiet, clean room. Not this time. The morning team did refund our monies, but we would never stay there again. Even the manager said it was disgusting and we should have been moved to a different room. While it was nice that they refunded our monies, it didn't make up for a poorly cleaned room and an indifferent staff person at night.
