Very friendly and helpful staff. Reception area very nice and gives an impression of high standard and therefore high expectations.
Hotel also has a Michelin 1-star restaurant, which further adds to the expectations.
However the rooms cannot meet these expectations, firstly they are quite worn, closets with no shelfs to put your clothes, door between room and hallway needs lubrication (squirks - but needs to be closed due to noise from hallway).
Refrigerator is not cooling enough and worst thing is, the general noise level.
You can hear almost everything happening in rooms next doors and above - talking, closets opening and closing, chairs being moved around as late as midnight.
Breakfast is acceptable, but small selection and much less compared to what we normally see at similar priced hotels.
Pool area is small, but ok. Limited number of sunbeds and no umbrellas.
Normally we also expect fitness room is a hotel of this standard.
Rooftop bar is however a great experience. The drinks we had was really amazing and an experience, try "Baricco" and see for yourself.
It also has a great view, for busu days, we recommend booking a table.
Could also be nice with coffee/tea in the room.
