We have stayed here in the past and still the resort is missing some quality points when you gauge it with resorts from Mexico per se. Case in point, the room we stayed in felt very dated, the bathroom felt dim lit and mirror was burred, sink seem unfinished in cleaning. The room's decor seem dated and sloppy paint job. there was very little updating in the room. No iron in the room, have to call to request one, honestly every room should have an iron and a board.
As far as the food goes, its no bad, the seafood restaurant was delicious, the buffet was not bad, dinner version a bit subpar. Only part we do not like is the race to get a reservation to a certain restaurant for the evening, it should be available to everyone, but each its own, cause some other resorts have similar methods.
Overall, it was not bad experience, music playing all day, fun activities at the pool which made it inclusive and fun. Evening entertainment was fun. Beautiful sunsets and saltwater pool.
Improve in the room quality and look and amenities to match other successful resorts, ie RIU and it should make for a better experience
