A Funeral Stay Made Worse.
The original front desk person was cold and borderline nasty. I am disabled and our first room had a sink that didn't drain and the majority of our outlets didn't work. The aforementioned employee's response was that maintainence was not there. She was abrupt and apathetic. She eventually offered another room. This was after we were unpacked and settled. We had no choice. We had to get it together to change rooms. At least this time, when I asked for help with our items going from room to room, we received help. When we checked in, along with my in-laws, my husband had to bring our luggage to our rooms after we were flatly told the person who did that was at the airport. We're not young
He was exhausted from the drive. There were carts. The second room was nicer, roomier, but with a non-working phone. Sadly, I fell in that room and ended up severely injured. Ugh! We were there for my husband's mother's funeral and our experience was horrible. Margaret, however was super sweet and accommodating. The young man who worked the desk on the late afternoon of 03/24/25, was also wonderful. He saw me struggling in the lobby and was helpful, kind, offered to bring me coffee and gave me water. We had a block of rooms for 03/23-25/25. We all had issues with that same front desk person at check-in and too many had room issues as well. Shame on this establishment.
