First of all I want to say we have had a great time in Croatia and have stayed in several hotels around the country during our holiday. We normally don't complain and do understand that this is a 3 star hotel but must say this has been disappointing to say the least. So here's our first complaint in 25 years of travelling.
We have paid 3.800 kn for 3 nights for the superior suite for a little "luxury" but from the beginning we have not been impressed by the quality of the hotel.
When we check in the receptionist keeps our passports and says we can pick them up in 10 minutes, she puts them on the side by the counter. We go to our room and settle in and after about 15 minutes I go down to the reception and there's no receptionist, I see that our passports are laying exactly where the receptionist left them but they are unattended, one could just go to the counter and take/steal the passports. This is an out security I have never seen this on all my travels that passports are just laying in the reception unattended. This is over 25 years of travelling all over the world, from 5 star hotels to 0 star hotels.
The room itself is very small to be a superior suite, we have booked on the website it says: "The Superior Suite with sea view is an ideal choice for family vacations.
