After long day of activities coming to our room to relax you find that you have, no view, no wifi, no tv. Dining is VERY limited. Either tacos or nachos. The restaurant takes no same day reservations. Walk-ins are welcome but you have to wait at least an hour. I would pay bit extra to stay by Old Faithful. Or at the West Entrance for sure.

Overall very nice...except bathroom very small!
The shower was the only problem. I'm not a big man, but I bumped my elbows and head several times. The shower was so small, I literally had to push the shower curtain out when bending over to wash my lower body etc... causing the floor and bath mat to get soaked in front of the shower.

No house keeping service
Great place overall. Beautiful view of the lake. Disappointed that we did not get any housekeeping services during our 3 nights stay. FYI, no WiFi in the room just in the registration building.

Pretty bare bones hotel. No wifi or TV. The park was closing down for the season so not too many amenities open nearby. Check in was great but in my experience ALL park employees were great.

Not Quite What We'd Hoped For
The room looked much better online than in person so we opted to leave after 1 night. The room was cramped & dark; no lobby; loud; no where to sit and enjoy the outside. and tired. But the staff members in the main building and nearby dining hall were wonderful!

You must stop at registration to get room keys. The room cost over $300 but there is no elevator, and we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor. That’s ridiculous. The Royal Cup coffee you get in your room is weak. There is no A/C but a fan. We didn’t need it but what about people who stay during the summer? The décor was in keeping with the park—a picture of the Grand Prismatic Spring and one with a bear. The bed, table, chairs, and shower were of good quality. I liked the souvenir soap in the shape of a bear. The room had a fridge but no freezer and no microwave (fail!). Wifi was only in the lobby, not in the rooms. It was expensive for what it had to offer, except location, location, locating--in the park near points of interest.

I like the staff in the reception, very good and nice service. I did not find the restaurant finally, seems the signs are not so clear. And the room is so dark.

I usually pick hotels that have TVs and microwave in the rooms and these rooms did not have those the rooms were smaller than a normal hotel room and I have a handicap relative and I had requested a ground floor unit or a unit that has a floor that has an elevator and they give us the second floor with no elevator so we had to use the stairs With our luggage and everything. I understand. It’s a skiing lodge more than anything and I can understand why there’s not much there the restaurant that’s on site I called and they said I didn’t need a reservation and when I showed up there 10 minutes later, they said there’s a big group coming in and we have to wait so that was disappointing and also the menu was very limited and very expensive. They did have a breakfast buffet in the morning, which was priced fair and was good.

The hotel's only redeeming feature is its location in Grant Village, in the center of Yellowstone National Park. There's no wifi, the room was dirty, we didn't have a cup of coffee (but 8 glasses!), the shower is tiny and the water doesn't stay hot. When we arrived, the fridge was unplugged, and there was a cream cheese lying around in it... plus, they leave a doggie for sale ($20)... just to put pressure on the poor parents whose child sees the doggie... the adjacent restaurant is really bad too, and bad service... if only the price had been a bargain, but no: it's overpriced for the quality.

We did not enjoy our stay in Grant Village. The bed is uncomfortable and there were not enough blankets to keep us warm. It was 39 degrees outside and they just had the normal 2 sheets and a fleece blanket on the bed. But the worst part was that there was no hot water. We checked in late after a long day of hiking and all we wanted was the shower and go to bed… but the water wouldn’t get above room temperature. Lastly, the walls and floors are paper thin. I could hear my neighbors conversations clearly enough to chime in if I wanted.

Staying in the park is nice, but for the price being charged, they could at least have someone come into the room and remove garbage and replace towels

Grant Village is right at the center of the park, easy to park and convenient to explore the park. Hotel is some steps away from the lake so you can enjoy morning and sunset beautifully. There is no Wi-Fi or even phone signal for T-Mobile which we found annoying at first but loved it later as we could enjoy the park more rather than opened the phone all the time. As there is no Wi-Fi, it is better that you plan your trip in advance. There is no room service every day though we stayed for 4 nights. Restaurants are regularly booked but the service is quick. The food is varied and friendly staff.
