I would first like to thank George Resendez and Emili Moreno for great customer service at the front desk. The room was very spacious and that was truly appreciated. Great television and internet. We love the fact our room wasn't far from the elevators. Those were all the good things about this stay.
I really hate leaving a bad review, but I just feel this needs to be mentioned. When I booked our stay on Expedia it stated the pet fee was $50 but during check in, I was told it was $75, and I thought okay maybe the price changed.
Secondly after checkout, an additional $10, was charged to our room because a black stain was on our sheet from my hair bonnet. I was told by someone at the front desk this morning 12/26/2024 they had pictures, and the sheets was trashed because they couldn't remove the stain.
I thought it was very convenient they had pictures, but none were sent to my email to confirm the reason for the extra $10 charge.
That was my first time staying at Hampton Inn & Suites and will be my last time. I've traveled to several states and stayed in lots of different hotels. Our main reason for staying at any of the Hilton hotels is because they allow us to bring our fur boy with us.
We normally stay at the Homewood Suites and have never had this problem.
I would like to thank Hilton for allowing us to bring our fur boy, but we'll never staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Brownsville again.
