I had a disappointing experience at Grand Park Royal that overshadowed my vacation. Upon arrival, the check-in process was rushed, and we received little guidance. We had to seek help from a bellman to find dinner, and the chaotic main hall made it difficult to navigate.
During our stay, I encountered several issues. On Mexican night, I struggled to find food I liked and was refused a fresh pan of beans by the chef when I asked. This was frustrating and embarrassing, leading me to escalate the issue to the manager.
I also experienced a burn during dinner at the teppanyaki restaurant due to a mishap. When I spoke to the evening Resort manager, he addressed me as "Lady" and dismissed my concern.
Throughout my stay, I felt overlooked, and disrespected especially at the adults-only pool where the server ignored me for hours. Making dinner reservations was uncomfortable, as staff stood around watching me until I addressed them. and finally the bellman was rude, refused to help me with my car and got angry because I asked for his help after ignoring me for more thab 15 minutes.
My butler reserved a cabana on the beach and pool for us, fix a dinner reserv. and whispered be nice to her, which helpe, but my was marred by poor service and disrespect. They knew who I was and while the attempt to help appeared to be real, everyday of my 7 day vacation was ruined and I did My best with avoiding the service team. I hope management addresses these issues, but I don’t plan to return.
