It was a quiet hotel even though we were staying near an emergency hospital with frequent sounds of ambulances and fire engines
The staff seemed very attentive to the customers and their needs and they spoke different languages which made it a good and safe way to stay.
However, we wish the hotel had asked about our own experiences with the recommended restaurant. The food was expensive, but nothing to rave about.
The arrangement at the restaurant seemed to be characterized by too much control over where we should sit, and we quickly came to feel like cattle that simply had to be herded into place in each of our stalls. We could just as well have found one or more places nearby with better service, prices and food, and add to that the fact that their machinery for payment did not work, so we were asked to pay in cash without being shown clear alternatives if we did not have to withdraw sufficient cash.
The waiters probably did their best, but it seemed assembly line-like. Not recommendable. I wonder if the hotel could profit from having a restaurant attached to the place for us guests?
