We like our stay. The staff was awesome. We felt Texan hospitality was on display!
The double queen suite is designed so you enter into a parlor area, down a short hall is the bedroom, and off the hallway is a bathroom with enclosed toilet area, shower, and sink. Nice private areas, as well as the parlor to entertain, if one chooses.
The suite was 61F when we arrived; we wished to turn up the heat to 70F. This proved easy to do, but not lasting. Once the temp was reached the heat shut off: we repeated this when we wanted more heat, including during the night. An access code to lock in a temp would be an improvement. Maybe carpet...
The beds are comfortable, with soft tops and firm support, lots of pillows, too. A lighted closet is nice. There was a TV in the bedroom which we did not use. A lamp on that credenza would be a great addition. There were three sconces on the walls opposite.
There was no refrigerator, microwave, table, desk, or chairs in the suite. These would be great additions in the parlor. There was a giant TV on a credenza. And a couch bed, which was nice and firm to set on.
Renting a suite, we wished to eat in it. That is not possible without a kitchenette space. Most hotels provide a fridge and microwave; guests expect those amenities.
We would stay here again, as it was a clean and beautiful hotel. However, either the cost per night or the amenities available, need to be adjusted.
Keep your staff, they are excellent!!!
