The hotel seemed to lack basic amenities that are usually found in hotels, such as an ice machine and a hairdryer in the room. There was a strange smell in the hallways and the elevator, almost like an electrical burning smell. It was also very hot in the hallways and elevators. The pillows were very small and uncomfortable, and the TVs only had basic cable, no smart TV capabilities (which is fine, it’s just been a while since I’ve stayed in a hotel that doesn’t have smart capabilities). There were little ants in the bathroom and very very low water pressure in the shower. Overall, just a disappointing experience and will cause me to reconsider DoubleTree hotels in the future.
