I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the customer service did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival, I waited in a lobby with no air conditioning for about 25 minutes. No staff member acknowledged the line or offered any updates. When I finally reached the counter, the representative did not greet me—he simply asked for my name. I had questions about the $40-per-night parking, but instead of helping, he said he would address it after pulling up my reservation, then proceeded to assist another customer while someone else retrieved my room keys. I ended up figuring out the parking situation on my own.
The hotel itself was good: the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and I didn’t experience any noise issues. The location is convenient to Sixth Street and several great restaurants.
However, on the second day, I got stuck in the elevator with two other guests. When I called the front desk for help, they tried to put me on hold. I explained I was trapped, and the staff member said he would call maintenance, then hung up. No one followed up or checked on us. We were only freed because another guest contacted someone they knew at the hotel.
Overall, while the accommodations were fine, the lack of basic courtesy and poor response to a safety issue mean I would not return to this hotel
